On top of managing business operations for WatchMojo, Ashkan has been an avid writer his entire life, covering topics on entrepreneurship, the tech industry, content streaming services, pop culture and sports (just to name a few). 

Working as a columnist for AskMen from 2000-2005, Ashkan produced several columns on topics such as business, management and motivation. He even produced work that encouraged building strong relationships with work colleagues, how to be more of an efficient employee and how to help yourself climb the socio-economic latter.

From 2010 to 2015, Ash published a weekly column on strategy, financing and M&A in new media and online video industries. During that time, he was a speaker, moderator and panelist at NATPE, Digital                                                                                Hollywood, OMMA and other conferences.

From 2009 to 2012, Ash covered the world of startups, entrepreneurships, financing, strategy & competition.
